What you can do:

Host a Helping Hands Donation Bin

When you host a bin you are actively contributing to reducing unnecessary landfill waste and helping to educate the public on recycling and international development. Helping Hands highlights a different host site on our website biweekly, which offers you free advertising.

Helping Hands is committed to ensuring your bin is clean and inviting to your customers and community. Helping Hands services each bin at a minimum of once a week and more often as needed. All that is required is 3x4 feet of outdoor space that is easily accessible to your customers, such as parking lot or a store front space. All bins are safe. Bins are designed so no one can climb inside; they are fireproof, insured and stationary.

A Helping Hands representative is on-call 24-7 for any emergency issue such as overflow of donations, damage to the bins, or if a donor accidently drops something inside.

All clothing and shoes are used to generate funds to promote Harambee’s mission and vision.
